When choosing a pump for your pond you should aim to turn the capacity of the pond over at least 1/2 to 1 times per hour. So if your pond was 500 gallons then you should have a pump with a turn over of 250gph - 500gph. So in this case the Otter 1000 - 1500 would be ideal.We also supply pond liners
